IN THE NEWS: Local businesses and civic boosters have rallied around the
popular fourth-grade field trips to Old Town that fell victim to budget
cuts in the San Diego Unified School District.
The Old Town Chamber of Commerce hosted the CafĂ© Coyote Historic Old Town Golf Classic last month, raising in excess of $77,000 — about double its goal — to cover bus costs for bringing fourth graders to Old Town San Diego. Read more from UT San Diego»
