IN THE NEWS: Students from Cherokee Point Elementary School joined Mayor
Bob Filner and his fiancé to help serve food at a homeless tent in
downtown San Diego. The Mayor invited the students to the shelter after
they approached him about reaching out to the city’s homeless.
