The
Prop. S-funded Motion Picture Industries facility project at Point Loma
High is more than 50 percent complete. The $3 million project includes
remodeling a 4,800-square-foot portion of the school’s 900 building into
a new facility for the Motion Picture Industries program.
This College,
Career and Technical Education program prepares students for careers in
the motion picture industry, and will serve more than 300 students.
Features of the remodeled facility include screening and editing rooms,
an audio suite and studio, and audio-video hub.
