The Board of Education holds a special meeting, a budget update, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the California Coast Credit Union, 9201 Spectrum Center Blvd., Suite 300 (92123). Interim Superintendent Bill Kowba and district staff will brief the Board on the latest state budget news, as well as map out the road to a final approval of the 2010-11 school year budget by June 30, 2010.
