Enter the 2010 Food Services Essay, Poetry, Rap Contest and win great prizes!

Answer the question:

What Does

Fuel Up to Play 60Mean to You?

The eighth annual Essay, Poetry, Rap, Contest runs from March 1 to March 31, 2010. All students in grades K-12 who attend schools in SDUSD are invited to enter. This year the San Diego Chargers and the Dairy Council of California have joined with SDUSD, SeaWorld Adventure Park and the Pear Bureau Northwest to sponsor the contest. The Fuel Up to Play 60 program encourages students to fuel up with healthy food and play at least 60 minutes per day. Tell us what that means to you and how you might plan to do it.

Entries will be judged on correctness and thoroughness of answer, clarity, creativity, spelling, grammar and presentation. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded to winners in each of four grade categories (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12).
