Students Collect Food in Honor of Dr. King

Students at five San Diego high schools will hold food drives in the next two weeks in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King. Clairemont, Crawford, Morse, SCPA and Serra high schools will participate in the Ninth District PTA's MLK Freedom from Hunger Food Drive for the San Diego Food Bank. The school that collects the most food will be awarded a $1,500 grant to its ASB from the PTA. Community members who want to contribute can drop food items off at the schools.
