School may be out, but families are definitely “in” at the Spring Fun Café Barbecue at Cherokee Point Elementary.More than 740 barbecue meals were served by Food Services to families in the Cherokee Point community through the Seamless Summer Program. The meals were offered free to children 18 and under and $2.00 for adults. Community partners were on hand to share information about a variety of programs that benefit low-income families and Feeding America provided free bags of food to families.
