Passing the Stethoscope to UC High Student Interns

Students at University City High are in the hospital this semester, doing important work in clinical internships at both Scripps Clinics and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Plus, two more UC High students interested in careers in veterinary medicine are interning at Governor Animal Clinic.

They are part of the Healthcare Essentials program at UC High that connects students with working professionals, to give them the opportunity for career exploration in more than 10 different hospital departments, including Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Laboratory, Radiology, Pediatrics, Integrative Medicine, Weight Management and Ambulatory Surgery and Spinal Injuries.
