It was a successful whirlwind trip around the globe for Point Loma High Economics and International Trade students. They returned last month from the International Economics Summit at University of Southern California with a 4th place trophy.
The team competed in a prestigious competition sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank, to educate students in economics within the context of international trade.
The Point Loma team represented the African nation of Niger in the simulation on global finance.
