At First Music Festival, Mann Middle Musicians Earn 'Excellent' Honors

Musicians from Mann Middle School in City Heights recently received an "excellent" rating and third-place trophy in the Music in the Parks festival at Disneyland.

The 13 students, all eighth graders, were playing in the show for the first time, competing against 16 other schools from around California.

This is the first year Mann students have participated in the Music in the Parks event and they cannot wait to go back again to compete next year.
