Thomas Jefferson Law School Hosts Future Lawyers from Crawford Law and Business

Students from Crawford Law and Business
at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law Black Law Students Association recently welcome 33 students from Crawford School of Law and Business to its new downtown facility.

Students toured the new facility and lunched with current law students before dividing into six groups to argue each side of three controversial school-youth related cases.

All students were also given “goody bags” with caps, pens, supplies and brochures by the law students, with ten also receiving Best Buy gift cards.

Many of the Thomas Jefferson law students are involved in project CLIMB – Crawford Law Inspirations and Mentorship Bond – where they work with students at Crawford Law and Business twice a week.

The event further developed the positive relationships between the high school and university students. For more information, please contact Steve Luttbeg, CCTE teacher, at sluttbeg@sandi.net.
