A generous donation of textbooks valued at more than $15,000, along with  other non-tangible resources, have been donated to the Culinary Arts  programs at Garfield,  Mira Mesa, Morse and San Diego high  schools by the San Diego County Chapter of the California Restaurant  Association. The program, ProStart, is a career-building program for  high school students that includes classroom as well as mentored work  experiences, national competitions and national certification  opportunities.
