Lincoln’s Fire Protection Program Ignites Choice Fair

The students from the Fire Protection Program at Lincoln’s Center for Public Safety were a big hit at the All Schools Fair Jan. 30 at Balboa Park. Students from the program performed search and rescue and “packaging a patient” maneuvers on the center stage in their firefighter turnouts.

Lincoln’s Fire Protection program has its own firehouse, and students are taught by City and County firefighters. It’s a great option for students interested in a career in Public Safety related to Fire Science.
