Science Comes Alive This Weekend in Two Free Events

Great minds will be at work this weekend for a double dose of scientific celebration – all free and open to the public.


Today through Sunday, March 28, will be the Greater San Diego Science and Engineering Fair, and all the latest and greatest discoveries of San Diego’s youth will be on display, including strong participation from district students. The Science and Engineering Fair his event is one of the premiere science fairs in the nation, an annual tradition since 1955 that has inspired countless generations. The fair is being held at the Balboa Park Activity Center, off of President's Way in Balboa Park. And Saturday, March 27, will be a huge finale to the weeklong 2010 San Diego Science Festival. It’s a big science party free for all to explore at EXPO DAY at Petco Park, featuring more than 150 hands-on activities and lively stage shows.
