On April 7, dozens of parents, community members and employees attended the first of five Superintendent Town Hall meetings at Porter Elementary School North. Attendees had the opportunity to share their suggestions on what San Diego Unified students need to be successful in the 21st century and global economy, and the qualities that the district’s next superintendent should possess to meet these needs. Interested individuals are invited to attend any or all of the remaining meetings:

- Thursday, April 22, at Pacific Beach Middle, 4676 Ingraham St. (92109)
- Wednesday, April 28, at de Portola Middle, 11010 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. (92124)
