The popular College, Career and Technical Education (CCTE) Showcase is an annual event that brings together students and programs from the CCTE classrooms around the district. From culinary arts students strolling with desert trays to robots to medical technicians, it's a place where prospective employers and community partners can see first-hand how students are learning real-world skills for today's jobs. Interim Superintendent Bill Kowba will be visiting with guests in his Executive Lounge, talking about vocational education and other topics.
The event is scheduled from 4-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the McMillan Liberty Station Hall in Pt. Loma. It's open to the public.
