GAME On! Attendance Initiative Brings Results
Thanks to the efforts of the GAME On! Good Attendance Means Everything initiative, more than 40% all of high schools have improved their ninth grade attendance over last year. In February, 72% of all high schools improved ninth grade attendance. High schools with exceptional improvement for the first semester include Clairemont, Point Loma, Crawford IDEA, Crawford MVAS, Crawford CHAMPs, Crawford LAB, Kearny SCT, Kearny School of International Business, San Diego School of International Studies, San Diego LEADS, San Diego School of Business and Patrick Henry. Crawford IDEA has improved its overall 9-12 grade attendance by more than 2% this year. Crawford CHAMPs and Point Loma High School also show significant overall improvement.
