Going Above and Beyond for Special Education

Several district employees were recognized at the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Special Education and Special Education Division’s annual “Above and Beyond Awards” on May 13. Recipients include: Robin Jenner, of Stein Education Center; Brian Lemons, of Harriet Tubman Charter; Leticia "Betty" Murguia, of Logan Elementary; Amy Satter, of Garfield Elementary; and Spiro Walpert, of Hoover High and Crawford Educational Complex. The CAC Honor Roll includes: Rose Chavez, of Garfield Elementary; Julie Kroener, of TRACE; and Pat Moulton, of Special Education Parent Services.
